“Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 46:10
In the still, quiet moments, under the shade of God’s majestic, green canopy, I see Him exalted in the beauty and peacefulness of His handiwork. When I take the time to stop, get alone and turn off the man-made noise, chaos, and clatter to listen to the voices of nature, I hear His sweet song.
Nature truly exalts our Almighty God. It is in this serene, calming stillness that I find the gracious relief and consolation of our most Holy Creator. We can never know the depth of Holiness until we know Him.
“In the beginning
God created the
heaven and the earth.
And the earth
was without form,
and void;
and darkness was upon
the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God
moved upon
the face of the waters.”
Genesis 1:1-2
Go outside. Look up. Look around. Be Still. See Him. He’s here. These still quiet moments are reminding us that our Creator is still God.
Praying for you as we grow together,
Smiles, BRC
